Oman Air win Staff Service
Excellence Award for Middle East region |

Oman Air was named winner of the Airline Staff Service
Excellence Middle East award at the 2011 World Airline Awards, in a ceremony held in the French Air and Space Museum at the Paris Air Show.
The runners-up in the Airline Staff Service Excellence Middle East category are Qatar Airways taking 2nd place in the category, ahead of
Gulf Air in 3rd position.

Oman Air is based on the grounds of Muscat International Airport in Muscat. It operates
scheduled domestic and international passenger services, as well as regional air taxi and
charter flights. In March 2010, Oman Air became the first airline in the world to offer both
mobile phone calling, SMS & WiFi Internet services. Oman Air operates 296 flights a week
within a network of 36 destinations in 19 countries out of its primary hub in Muscat.
