customer Product and Service Quality at the 2011 World Airline Awards, in a ceremony held at the Paris Air Show.
The runners-up in this Best Low-Cost Airline Central Asia / India category are Kingfisher Red taking 2nd place in the category, ahead of Spicejet in 3rd position.

India. Kingfisher Airlines, acquired the airline in 2007 and it was known as "Simplifly Deccan".
In August 2008, it was announced the airline was re-branded as Kingfisher Red and operates under
Kingfisher's IATA code IT.
