Etihad Airways wins the Best First Class Onboard Catering award
for 2011 |

Etihad Airways was named winner of the Award for the World's Best First Class Airline
Catering for Product Quality at the 2011 World Airline Awards, in a ceremony held in the French Air and Space Museum at the Paris Air Show.
The runners-up in this Best First Class Airline category are Singapore Airlines taking 2nd place in the category, ahead of
Qantas Airways in 3rd position.

Royal Decree in July 2003, with Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, as its hub. Etihad started
commercial operations in November 2003. The airline operates more than 1000 flights per week to
66 destinations in 44 countries,[2] via a fleet of 57 aircraft. Its operation is heavily
centered in Europe and Asia, as well as Oceania, Africa and North America. Its main base
