Airline in Central America & Caribbean |

TACA Airlines was named the Best Airline Central America / Caribbean at the 2011 World Airline Awards,
in a ceremony held in the French Air and Space Museum at the Paris Air Show.
The runners-up in this category are Copa Airlines
taking 2nd place in the category, ahead of Caribbean Airlines in 3rd position.

Transport), now stands for Transportes Aéreos del Continente Americano (Air Transport of the
American Continent), reflecting its expansion to North, Central, South America and the
Caribbean. TACA flies to 39 destinations in 22 countries in North, Central and South America
and the Caribbean, including daily flights to 9 major U.S. cities, as well as to Toronto,
Canada.
