Airline Australia / Pacific at 2011 awards |

Air New Zealand was named the Best Airline Australia / Pacific at the 2011 World Airline Awards,
in a ceremony held in the French Air and Space Museum at the Paris Air Show.
Air New Zealand are clearly demonstrating their popularity with passengers
travelling to this region. Qantas were named in 2nd place with Jetstar Airways climbing up the
rankings to achieve 3rd.

airline, the oldest continuously operated airline in the world and the second oldest in the
world overall.

Jetstar Airways is an Australian low-cost airline headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. Qantas
established the airline in 2003 as a low-cost domestic subsidiary. The airline operates an
extensive domestic network as well as regional and international services from its main base at
Melbourne Airport. Jetstar currently flies to 18 domestic destinations and 16 international
destinations in 7 countries across Asia, North America and Oceania.
