South African Airways is named the
Best Airline in Africa for 2011 |

South African Airways was named the Best Airline Africa at the 2011 World Airline Awards,
in a ceremony held in the French Air and Space Museum at the Paris Air Show.
The runners-up in this Best Airline Africa category are Air Mauritius, taking 2nd place in this category, ahead of
Kenya Airways.

Asian, Australian, African and regional destinations. Air Mauritius is the leading scheduled
carrier within the Indian Ocean region. The company is also proud of its young fleet which is
composed of mainly Airbus aircraft including A340-300C, A340-300E, A330-200. A319-100. Its main
base is Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Mauritius. |

KENYA AIRWAYS |

Kenya Airways, is the largest airline of Kenya. The company was founded in 1977, after the
dissolution of East African Airways. The airlines main base is at Jomo Kenyatta International
Airport. The airline was wholly owned by the Government of Kenya until April 1995, and it was
privatised in 1996, becoming the first African flag carrier in successfully doing so. As of
June 2011 the carrier's destination network comprises 54 cities in Asia, Africa and Europe.
