Commenting on the Best Transpacific Airline Award won by Cathay Pacific, Skytrax Chairman, Edward Plaisted said: "the Transpacific market has a large number
of high quality airlines, and for Cathay Pacific Airways to win this award demonstrates that they are clearly achieving some good levels of customer satisfaction.
The World Airline Awards are known as 'The Passenger's Choice', and Cathay Pacific Airways should be pleased that their harshest critics, air travellers on their
flights, have named Cathay Pacific as the best airline."
Asian carriers dominated the top rankings in this category, with Singapore Airlines in 2nd and Asiana Airlines 3rd place.
